Introduction
EnSpeed LiveSync may be installed as an rpm on CentOS 5.2/Redhat 5.2 VM Server. This document describes that process.

LiveSync tar file contents
Unpack the LiveSync tar file using the command "tar xvzf LiveSync-1.5.3.tgz". It contains:

  1. expect-5.43.0-5.1.i386.rpm
  2. EnSpeedVMM-1.5-3.i386.rpm

Installing LiveSync
When installing the Centos/Redhat OS, enable the Virtualization Server option.

Install the two rpms in the same order using the commands "rpm --install expect-5.43.0-5.1.i386.rpm", "rpm --install EnSpeedVMM-1.5-3.i386.rpm"

After installing these rpms, enable connections to port 8002 in the iptables firewall configuration file, reboot the server, and add it to the VM Orchestrator
